New China Buffet in Puyallup

I like the variety of food they serve here and when the food is fresh, it is really good. Sometimes you'll find a dish that has been out for awhile and that's not so good. The service is really great here and it has a quiet atmosphere. They have a good variety for desserts and they have regular icecream instead of soft-serve. If you love jello and fruit this is a good place. They don't really have a lot for salads though. I would go back anytime i want a variety if chinease food.

This place is unbelievably rude... we ordered food online for pick up tonight.. got there to pick it up and because they wanted to go home early our food was never even made they closed 30 minutes,early and didn't even bother to call us but instead were leaving and locking up the doors when I got there.. I have never had someone so rudely do this before.. There were no apologies no nothing they jyst kept going to their car.. don't waste your time or money on this extremely rude and unprofessional business.. I'm going to make sure I tell anyone and everyone I ever encounter not to ever bother with this low life place.

Starting with appearance the restaurant could definitely use some work in this area, from the entrance to the dinning area looked dirty.The food was edible but not incredible. Dessert options were minimal. Ice cream and little extremely small Tiramisu pieces. Not sure what was going on with the chicken. Would not go again.

Bland fishy smelling food. Nothing looked or tasted fresh. Most items were mushy or over cooked. Bathroom were appalling, with sticky floors and leaky fixtures.I should have followed my instincts and turned around immediately after entering. Doesn't even deserve one star.

I came in with my mother in law because we live a good Chinese buffet. Except this was no where near good we were there for lunch so I figured the food would at least be fresh tasting. Nope. It was so gross and I ended up getting sick from the chicken on a stick, which tasted rotten. Scrape the plates with your finger and it’s grease residue in every single one. It’s disgusting.

Great food, friendly staff. It's a buffet, so if that's not your thing, there are plenty of other Chinese food restaurants in South Hill. They may or may not have had health issues in the past, but they're all approved and what have you now. I don't notice any glaring concerns.If you have a seafood allergy, avoid this place as the shell fish are right next to other items and there's plenty of cross contamination, but the food seems to be fresh. This is probably true of any buffet though.

A typical all-you-can-eat dinner place. Food was good; as Asian food usually is. They offer cracking tools to help you crack open the crab legs. Price is $14 for dinner.

Food is ok felt a little grease on the the meat for the Mongolian was not very fresh and tables, soy sauce and salt and pepper shakers were not very clean. The egg drop soup and egg fu yong was pretty good. Overall not very good ratings.

This is a no frills Chinese buffet. I have always found something that I liked. The selection is not like the super buffets. They have Mongolian grill for the same price.

This place is gross we walked in and the people just glare at you. Then we went to grab a plate and the plates felt dirty and the food was questionable. The tables were not clean and food on the floor. We ate a little bit the food and it was gross and we paid way to much for it. We walked back to were my phone was being worked on and the lady said she got food poisoning there. I didn't get sick but it was gross so not worth it. Will never go back.

The food was terrible, staff sloppy, bathroom gross. I would not refer anyone to eat here. It was the smallest and quickest lunch I have ever had, it needs a good cleaning that's for sure.

The price is a bit too pricey for just three people ($52). I could've just gone to a hotel and ate their food there. The place look terrible, the food didn't taste fresh. An hour after I left with my family, got food poison and gave me bad stomachache. Friendly people though. That'll be my first and last visit

Staff was friendly enough but the food was very sub-par. Chinese food from your local Wal-Mart deli is far more superior in comparison. Staying home and having pre made frozen chinese from the store would've been better and less than half the price.

Food is normally really dry. Not much of a selection in the sushi bar. Ice cream area is hidden. Customer service is pretty good though.

I like going for lunch. It's a decent price for a buffet. One of the very few buffets in Puyallup.

Not sure where everyone else ate. Clean, good service and most food was good. Even if some wasn't great there was enough variety to make anyone happy.Again, food good, clean and service good. Believe it or not try the pizza

Someone tell me where the Peitro's Pizza went that use to be here. I miss that great pizza crust. Can't find that crust anywhere. Yeah China buffet sux rox

The food is fresh and hot, the staff is friendly and efficient and it's a decent Buffet. They were having problems with water or something on the floor that made it slick. The plates were coming out in stacks and they were not dry between plates, but it's okay.

The food seems over cooked and stale. Made me sick for a while. But, the sushi is good and the staff is polite.

The food is really good, quite the selection and plenty of places to sit.

If I could rate zero stars I would.Went in on A Friday night and everything was old and disgusting. The crab legs are now deep fried clusters where before they were decent quality crab legs. Now they're fried rubber clusters. I tried multiple things everything was sitting so long that it was stuck to the metal pans. The shrimp was so dry I couldn't chew it. The only thing I can say was decent was the ice cream and the fortune cookies, only because they didn't make them. No customer service. Not going back again. Hoping I don't get food poisoning tonight.

Always good! I've been going here for about ten years now and I'm never disappointed.

There was not much of a selection compared to other buffets I have been to. Way over-priced for what they have. We went there for dinner and they ran out of crab legs. I would have rather gone to Panda Express because it is less expensive and the food tastes better and I would have leftovers. We will not go there again.

The last time i thought to call the health department. It starts with sticky floors and left me not touch many items. The bar rescue guy from TV would have a hayday.

This place is foul. The food was extremely stale. I think it was last nights dinner reheated. I haven't been up to pay yet but if I pay a dollar I paid too much. Everything tastes stale or weird. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

I would not give it a star at all. The food was hard,burnt,some salty, some not enough salt, there was crab claws that looked more like scorpion claws. Not enough selections. Salmon shoulda been tossed back to sea🤢Desserts..must I even go there? We went on a Saturday night and it was 13.99! I would have enjoyed a McDonald happy meal compared to this garbage. This I must say was the worst buffet I’ve been to. **DO NOT...I REPEAT..DO NOT EAT HERE!** YOUR WELCOME!

I finally tried this place and it was as bad as my friends said. It's been going down hill for years and they finally stuck a fork in it. It would have been a lot better if they didn't overcook almost everything and refilled the food more often. I wish they'd put the Golden corral here.

Small, but for the most part good. I had to take a star off because the fried rice has ham in it, and that is weird. If you like ham fried rice, then this is the spot for you.

They are very welcoming people. It brings a cozy atmosphere and they are Willing to help as best as they can. The food is awesome and it's one of the only places I know, that even though it's a Buffet they let you have take out for extra which is neat! And they have crab!!! Great place, people need to give then hidden gem a chance!

Oily floors, which make you hope you don't slip and crack your head open, disgusting food that gives you heart burn, and a very limited food selection. Place makes you wish you had gone and got something to eat at the Walgreens on the corner. If I could give negative stars I would.

I am hesitant to call what I ate there "Food". Warm slop is more fitting in this case, Nothing was fresh, The pot stickers I swear were poisonous. If it wasn't overcooked mush, It was stale and old. I am never going back, I would have been better off going to panda express, The food is alot better and it would have overall been a cleaner experience . I honestly wouldn't be surprised if my mother or I got food poisoning from our experience here at The new china slop-house. I would give 0 stars if I could

Great place for a local buffet. Come hungry and you will leave full without even tasting all they have to offer. Make sure you leave room for dessert.

Amazing food, authentic to mainland China and a few American foods. 12.99 dinner, 7.99 lunch. Good sushi and great service. Go for the great made and customized sir fry, it is awesome.

Not clean husband said the restrooms were a mess. The food tastes cheap and undercooked. Definitely won't be back.

When asked for a children's menu was told they charge by the child's HEIGHT !!! I have tall children who are adult size. Don't bring children here to eat if they are tall, they will get charged adult prices, even if they are a child. They should advertise "for short customers only " children prices were "4 ft and under ." Umm... what about the tall kids who were 4 ft at age 5?

Awful staff. I was overcharged for food I never had. I sat to eat before 4pm and finished my food just a few minutes after. They insisted on charging me the dinner price because it was 4:07 by the time they rang me up. I politely asked them to change it because they hadn’t even brought the dinner food out yet. When they insisted I didn’t argue. It wasn’t worth my time. They got an extra $4 out of me but they lost a customer and hopefully other people see this review.
